Pumpkin has been getting a lot of love in the blog world lately (shocking!), and while I’ve also been eating pumpkin several times a day, I sort of feel bad for the apples. After all, this is also the season for warm apple crisps, candy apples that are coated in so much sugar they make your teeth ache, and good old-fashioned apple pie! But unfortunately, I haven’t seen too many apple recipes.
Let’s change that. And instead of spending our time peeling and slicing apples and then waiting for them to bake (which is fun, but not on a busy Tuesday), let’s take a shortcut and make an apple pie smoothie!
Apple Pie Smoothie
- 1 C. Almond Milk
- 3/4 C. Chopped Apple (I used 2 tiny gala apples)
- 1/2 Frozen Banana
- 1 Graham Cracker
- 1 tsp. Coconut Oil, Melted
- 1 tsp. Chia Seeds (optional, but they help thicken it)
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
- Handful of Ice Cubes
- Throw everything into the blender, pour into your favorite glass, devour!
This smoothie helped satisfy my apple pie craving, while still being a quick and healthy breakfast. And the best part? I only had to clean the Vitamix. Minimal dirty dishes = winning.
Now where’s my pumpkin…

Thanks, Michelle! I’m still very much learning how to use a “real” camera, so I really appreciate the compliment.
